Expression Of Thy Self

A simple flower for the simple life
 

In this life we lead, in this blissful world we call reality, we take moments to escape and reach out to those still looking. We pour our emotions out on canvas, on paper in the form of artwork. We express ourselves through song and poetry.  We sometimes find ourselves in someone else's painting, or see a flash of a memory in someone else's song. It's simple, we are a reflection of each other. We are each others emotions, thoughts and the expression of them. We are mirrors of ourselves and reflections of the art we so passionately love. We are the art. So here and now, I share with you some of the artwork I find fascinating. I will do my best to give all credit to those that shared that art with the world.

When I saw this piece, I immediately thought about the feminine side of us and mother earth. In that thought I began to think of the duality within all us. The male/female duality is sometimes never explored or even given recognition. So here are some examples of duality in male/female form.
